Frostbitten Heather Beck Review

The Blurb…

Great beauty hides dark secrets…

Seventeen-year-old Anastasia Lockhart has never led an easy life, but when she starts getting into serious trouble, she’s sent to live with her grandparents in Cedar Falls. The small, picturesque town hasn’t changed since she visited four years ago, with one exception – the presence of a handsome, mysterious boy named Frost. Despite warnings from her grandparents and friends to stay away from Frost, Anastasia can’t deny their attraction, and the more time they spend together, the deeper in love they fall. Unfortunately, Frost has a secret that is beyond Anastasia’s wildest imagination, and she soon finds herself in the midst of a supernatural legend that has haunted Cedar Falls for years.

Can Anastasia and Frost’s love really overcome anything, or are their fates much darker?

My Review…

I received this copy of Frostbitten from Heather Beck in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book!

I liked how the author pointed out the cliches of high school and how well-developed each character was, shaping the story into something incredible.I must say, though, that there were the usual themes a YA novel uses, but it did not ruin this novel at all. It was a fun, enjoyable and a lovely summer read and it will be going on to my re-read shelf no doubt about that!. Not only was the book nicely flowing not to fast nor to slow… the ending was amazing! just as it was going in one direction the author took me by complete surprise and threw a cliffhanger into the story. I thought i was given a copy that didn’t have the full story on or that my kindle was broken! but no after some research i found that it was put there on purpose! Gosh… i can’t wait for the next book to come out… that’s right miss beck sit down and get writing !

The characters are also something! I love Anastasia’s decision-making skills, She grew up a lot throughout the whole novel. Her stubbornness and courage was amazing….Loved it! but i also loved her fragile side that she had and how much love she has for frost…

FROST!…Oh my gosh what  swoon-worthy guy heather has created. How could you not like this guy someone please tell me! He was portrayed very human-like. He’s gentle, sweet, caring, and flawed. Even though he can look perfect on the outside, he could still appear flawed on the inside, which was what made him very realistic And even more lovable.

Overall, i couldn’t put the book down even if i wanted to i fully recommend this book to and cant wait to read the second and find out whats going on with Anastasia at the end. Anyone who loves YA paranormal romance then pick up this book right now 😛
